The ski resort of Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis has modern chairlifts and gondola lifts, most of which have weather-protection covers and heated seats. There are still tow lifts, but you can avoid these if you prefer. Child safety is a priority in the ski resort. For example, the Familienbahn Gampen lift, the Königsleithebahn lift and the Masnerkopfbahn lift have child-safety systems to stop children sliding from the seats. In order to minimize waiting times, an "Easy Boarding" system has been introduced at some lifts to ensure they operate at full capacity. 29 moving carpets provide additional capacity of 12,000 people per hour.
