The evaluation is done as follows
Environmental protection of the ski resort See
The See mountain lifts are taking new approaches to environmental protection with their snowmaking system. Outside of snowmaking operations, the system is used to generate electricity from hydropower. As a result, See produces four times as much energy with its snowmaking pipelines as it consumes itself. The mountain lifts are setting an exemplary standard for the environment. In addition, the free ski bus is promoted in See and throughout the Paznaun valley. All snow groomers are equipped with a snow depth measurement system for efficient snowmaking.
