Access, Parking Schmittenhöhe – Zell am See

The ski resort is located in the Zell am See-Kaprun holiday region and starts in Zell am See, Schüttdorf and Viehhofen. The entry point in Viehhofen in the Glemmtal (Glemm Valley) was created in the 2019/2020 season with the installation of the new zellamseeXpress 10-person cable car. The ski resort can be accessed by motorway from Siegsdorf (no tolls via Germany), Wörgl and Bischofshofen. The nearest motorway is around 50 kilometres away. You can find sufficient free parking at the areitXpress lift in Schüttdorf and at the zellamseeXpress in Viehhofen and in the Schmittental at the base station. In Zell am See, the only available parking is in a payable underground car park that is not directly at the lift.
