The Planaibahn II serves the upper section of the connection from Schladming to the Planai. It is directly connected to the Planaibahn I without the need to change lifts. The lift system is being replaced by the new 10-seater gondola Planai II. After its dismantling, the old lift will be rebuilt in Argentina as the 6-seater gondola Las Leñas.
