Modern 8-seater chairlift on the Planai

The 8-seater chairlift Lärchkogel replaces the old Lärchkogelbahn. The modern lift system by LEITNER offers a significantly increased transport capacity with enhanced ride comfort and reduced travel time. The station buildings, designed by Pininfarina, reflect the typical Planai look and color scheme.

The new Lärchkogelbahn significantly improves the offering on the Planai. On the one hand, the transport capacity on the popular summit route is increased by almost 75%; on the other hand, the modern 8-seater chairlift impresses with more comfort thanks to premium chairs featuring seat heating and weather protection covers. The travel time is reduced by one minute.

The stations of the new Lärchkogelbahn have also been redesigned. Both station buildings are designed by Pininfarina, incorporating the typical Planai color scheme and appearance.
