The 8-seater Lärchkogel chairlift replaces the old Lärchkogelbahn. The modern lift system from LEITNER offers a significantly increased transport capacity with enhanced ride comfort and reduced travel time. The station buildings, designed by Pininfarina, reflect the typical Planai look and color scheme.
The new Lärchkogelbahn significantly improves the offering on the Planai. On one hand, the transport capacity on the popular summit route is increased by almost 75%; on the other hand, the modern 8-seater chairlift scores with greater comfort thanks to premium chairs featuring seat heating and weather protection hoods. The travel time is reduced by one minute.
The stations of the new Lärchkogelbahn have also been redesigned. Both station buildings were designed in the Pininfarina style, incorporating the typical Planai color scheme and appearance.
