Beginners Rauriser Hochalmbahnen – Rauris

The Schwazerwiese practice slope at the valley station of the Hochalmbahn is very flat and ideal for beginners. The ski schools also operate conveyor belts/magic carpets here. The rope tows at the Schwazerwiese practice slope have their own, more affordable prices. Higher up in the ski area, there are many blue slopes at the gondola lifts. These are excellent for advanced beginners, as they include some slightly steeper sections. At Kreuzboden, there is another platter lift for practice. For beginners, the Waldalmbahn is a great addition, as the new lift now allows you to return from the platter lift at Kreuzboden to the Hochalmbahn. The valley runs are intermediate and difficult and are off-limits for beginners. The Gratlift is also off-limits.
