Lifts/cable cars Pitztal Glacier (Pitztaler Gletscher)

The Gletscherexpress underground funicular takes you up to the glacier ski resort in just 8 minutes. In the actual ski resort, most of the lifts are gondolas as well as one chairlift. The Wildspitzbahn lift quickly transports visitors up to the highest point accessible with a lift in Austria. It is the highest cable car in Austria. You will need stamina, however, for the long ride of almost 2 kilometres in the Brunnenkogellift. For beginners, there is also a button lift and a covered moving carpet at the mountain station of the Gletscherexpress.
