The Orlovka ski resort is located in the Chuy Valley, about 100 km from the capital Bishkek. It is a local recreation area for the city, situated at an altitude between 1,200 and 1,650 meters above sea level. Orlovka features the first snowmaking system in Central Asia and the first halfpipe in Kyrgyzstan. The slopes are groomed by two piste machines, and the entire area can be covered with artificial snow using a connected snowmaking system.
