Environmental protection of the ski resort Obertauern
Almost all of Obertauern is heated with environmentally friendly biomass from the Obertauern heating plant. Heat generation at an altitude of over 1,700 meters is therefore not only resource-efficient, but also guaranteed even under the most adverse conditions. Electricity is supplied by the local energy provider Salzburg AG. Ski area boundaries should be respected and the ski area should not be left. Ski buses complete the range of services.
