Obertauern is located in the province of Salzburg on a mountain pass and can be reached from the Ennstal valley and from Lungau via a well-developed pass road. Due to the incline, snow chains are always recommended in heavy snowfall. Free parking is available directly at the lifts throughout the entire resort.
