Beginners will find ideal practice areas at the Schwanden lift and at the Idealhang lift. The Schwanden lift is an 8-person chairlift with weather protectors, seat heaters and child safety restraints that provides access to easy slopes. The tow lift on the Idealhang is right next door and also provides access to an easy slope. The rest of the ski resort features mainly intermediate slopes and is not suitable for beginners. Multiple ski schools operate their own practice areas.
