The evaluation is done as follows
Snow-reliable rating Niseko United – Annupuri/Grand Hirafu/Hanazono/Niseko Village
A lack of snow is unheard of in Niseko. The ski resort is extremely snow-sure. During the main season, it snows almost daily. The reason is the cold air masses from Siberia, which absorb moisture over the Sea of Japan and then release it as snow on the mountains in western Hokkaido. As a result, skiing in the famous "Japow" Japan Powder in Niseko is possible almost the entire season. The ski resort is open for skiing and snowboarding from late November to early May. There is no need for artificial snowmaking here, as the resort has not had any problems with a lack of snow in the past 30 years.
- No artificial snow-making
- The valley run is practically always open.
