Due to its altitude and partial artificial snowmaking, the Neunerköpfle ski area is relatively snow-sure. The runs leading to the Gundl lifts in the upper part of the ski area are east-facing. The other slopes are oriented to the northwest. Thanks to this not-too-sunny location, the snow lasts quite well.
