The ski resort of Mt. Hotham caters very well for families and children. Facilities for children are located at the Big D 4-person chairlift. Practice areas with moving carpets, a kids’ club and a daycare centre complete the services. Additional easy slopes can be found at The Summit 4-person chairlift. There is also a practice button lift here. The local ski school offers special lessons for children.

Kids at Hotham is located at the Big D 4-person chairlift. Children from 3 years of age (Mighty Mites) can practise in an enclosed area at moving carpets here. The Mt. Hotham ski school looks after the area. There is also a parent-free zone in the Kids’ Club and the Hotham Daycare Centre.
