The ski resort Madarao/Tangram is located in the Nagano Prefecture (Japan, Honshu, Chūbu) and in the Niigata Prefecture (Japan, Honshu, Chūbu).
Evaluation
For skiing and snowboarding, there are 34.8 km of slopes available. 16 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between the elevations of 800 and 1,340 m.
The ski area on Mount Madarao is operated by two companies. The larger part is the Madarao Mountain Resort, while the smaller part is the Tangram Ski Circus. There are ski passes available for each area as well as for the entire ski region. The ski runs are located below the tree line. There are also specially designated freeride areas. Additional activities such as snowmobile tours and snowshoe hikes are also offered at the winter sports area.
