Environmental protection of the ski resort Kreischberg

The ski resort is very environmentally conscious. Environmentally friendly travel is encouraged with ski buses and a train station. Access with all local buses and trains of the Steiermark Bahn is even free of charge. After the initial snowmaking at the beginning of the season, many snow cannons are transported to a storage area higher up in the ski resort to avoid disturbing the landscape. The slopes are only opened when there is sufficient snow cover. Skiing in the forests is prohibited.
