The Killington ski resort offers the longest ski season in the eastern United States. All main runs are fully covered with artificial snow, and the season typically runs from late October to late May. The record was an opening day on October 1 and a closing day on June 22. The Superstar run is heavily snowed every year, and the snow depth on the run usually exceeds 10 meters by spring. In addition, Killington offers a "snow guarantee" for day passes. If you are not satisfied with the conditions, you can exchange your ski pass for a voucher for another day of the season within the first hour.
