The ski runs are mowed and organically fertilized in summer. This has a very positive effect on biodiversity and the landscape, and thus on the recreational value. All restaurants in the ski area are connected to the valley's sewage system. The electricity used to operate the facilities is 100% nuclear-free. Ski buses are subsidized.
