On the Katschberghöhe (also known as Katschberg), almost all hotels are located directly on the slopes or within a short walking distance. The selection ranges from 4-star hotels, guesthouses, apartments, holiday homes to chalets. The hotels are equipped with indoor pools and wellness areas and offer childcare in dedicated kids’ rooms. Architecturally, the two apartment towers of the edel:weiss Residences (Falkensteiner) stand out. Inspired by nature, Italian star architect and designer Matteo Thun created two towers resembling pine cones. Katschberghöhe is part of the village Rennweg am Katschberg, so the accommodations use Rennweg as their location name. In St. Margarethen, there are only a few accommodations directly on the slopes, but with Almdorf Lungau, there is a chalet village located right on the slopes. More affordable accommodations can be found in Rennweg and St. Michael im Lungau (both about 6 km from the Katschberg ski area).
