    A dense ski bus network connects the villages in the Tuxertal with the Hintertux Glacier. There are also ski buses from Mayrhofen in the Zillertal. In summer, the glaciers are protected from sunlight with protective covers.

    • No direct train connection
      Mayrhofen train station is located 22 km from the Hintertux Glacier. During the winter season, regular buses run from here to the Tuxertal.

    • Regularly operating ski buses connect the glacier lifts with the villages of Hintertux, Juns, Madseit, and Vorderlanersbach. During the peak season, there is also a ski bus (Green-Line) that transports skiers in ski equipment and with a valid ski pass free of charge from Mayrhofen to Hintertux and back.
