From Heavenly Village (South Lake Tahoe), you can quickly and conveniently reach the ski area with the 8-seater gondola Heavenly Gondola. From the California Lodge, both the Aerial Tramway and a fast chairlift lead to the slopes. Within the ski area itself, most of the slopes are accessed by fast, fixed-grip chairlifts. Practice lifts and conveyor belts are available for beginners.
