The Heavenly ski resort is located in South Lake Tahoe. Situated right on the border between California and Nevada, there are several access points to the ski area. The California Base offers the most parking spaces. Additional parking can be found at Stagecoach Lodge and Boulder Lodge. The fastest way to enter the Heavenly ski area is by taking the gondola from Heavenly Village. However, parking here is limited. You can park in the parking garage or at the nearby casino parking lots. The Heavenly Gondola is within walking distance from many hotels in South Lake Tahoe. In case of fresh snowfall, winter equipment is absolutely necessary.
