Experienced skiers will find challenging slopes at Festkogl in Obergurgl as well as at Wurmkogl, Vorderer Wurmkogl, and the Große Karbahn in Hochgurgl. True experts are drawn to the open ski terrain at Hohe Mut in Obergurgl and the various ski routes. Hochgurgl also offers plenty of open, unsecured ski terrain. It’s no coincidence that the annual freeride event "Open Faces" takes place in Gurgl. The event attracts freeriders from all over the world to Obergurgl and Hochgurgl.
