Beginners Gurgl – Obergurgl-Hochgurgl
Obergurgl and Hochgurgl offer ideal slopes for beginners. Almost the entire ski area can be explored on easy slopes. Beginners practice their first snowplow turns in the ski schools and at the Krumpwasser, Wiesen, and Mahdstuhl lifts. Those who are already confident on skis can also master the easy slopes from Festkogl down to Obergurgl.
The slopes at Wurmkogl and at the Kirchenkarbahn in Hochgurgl are almost all very well suited for beginners. The runs lead down over wide and gentle slopes. Comfortable and fast chairlifts and gondolas take you back up the mountain. The valley run from Hochgurgl down to Pill and the access to the Top-Express in Obergurgl are not necessarily recommended for complete beginners.
