Ski lifts at the ski resort Gerlitzen
All the lifts converge at the summit of Gerlitzen (1,911 m). From Klösterle, you can reach the summit with two long detachable four-seater chairlifts. From Annenheim on Lake Ossiach, a four-person gondola takes you up to Kanzelhöhe. From there, a detachable four-seater chairlift with weather shields brings you to the summit. The detachable eight-seater chairlift Neugarten 8er-Carving Jet provides access to the wide carving slopes at the summit. From Bergeralm, the Wörthersee 6er Family-Jet chairlift also leads to the summit, featuring weather shields and heated seats. The Wörthersee Freeride-Jet four-seater chairlift conveniently takes you from the freeride slopes back to the six-seater chairlift. Additionally, there are two double chairlifts at Kanzelhöhe, mainly used by beginners. Further drag lifts, platter lifts, and conveyor belts complete the range of facilities.
A look back: Gerlitzen Alpe cable cars are the most traditional cable car company in Carinthia. The first Kanzelbahn was already opened in 1928.
