The Garmisch-Classic ski area offers a mix of slopes for all levels of difficulty. At Osterfelderkopf and at the Längenfelderbahn, you are above the tree line; elsewhere, you are below it. The long valley runs to the Hausberg and Kreuzeck/Alpspitzbahn valley stations are intermediate and difficult. The easy slopes are located between Hausberg and Kreuzeck in the middle section.

The steepest and most challenging sections are "Freier Fall" and Tröglhang. Before the World Cup races, certain sections are closed for preparation reasons, and alternatives are provided in those areas.

The Kandahar downhill run leads in various versions from Kreuzjoch to the valley station of the Kreuzeckbahn/Alpspitzbahn. This challenging run is used as a World Cup downhill course. The steepest section is the "Freie Fall" with a 92% gradient. This section can be bypassed. - Osterfelder Run
