The Märchenlift slope is especially suitable for children. It is accessed via the associated Märchenlift drag lift. During the ride on the drag lift, funny characters accompany the children. The Märchenlift, with its valley station at the ticket office, has a gentle incline and is slowed down. Slightly more advanced children can try the longer Outer Family Run. There is also a small children's area at the Märchenlift slope. Children under 6 years old ride for free when accompanied by a supervising adult.

The Ski & Snowboard School Region Murau has an office with ski rental directly at the Murauer Hütte in the ski area. The children's area of the ski school is easily accessible via the Märchenlift. Here, various courses and fun figures with professional supervision are available.
