The Formigal ski resort is one of the most modern and best in all of Spain and the Pyrenees. It extends across the four interconnected valleys of Tres Hombres-Sextas, Izas-Sarrios, Anayet, and Portalet. Skiing in Formigal ranges from very easy slopes to extremely steep runs and freeride areas. The winter sports area is located right on the Spanish-French border in the western part of the Pyrenees.
