Since 2022, there is no longer any skiing operation on the Dachstein Glacier. The ascent with the glacier cable car into the winter sports area is an absolute experience. You overcome 1,000 meters in altitude and glide close past steeply sloping rock faces. Once at the top, a panorama with hundreds of mountain peaks awaits you. On the Dachstein, numerous varied attractions await, such as the Dachstein Ice Palace and cross-country trails.
