Only the toll road from Ramsau am Dachstein leads up to the Dachstein cable car lift, which motivates guests to use the numerous ski buses from Schaldming and Ramsau am Dachstein to get to the lift. They are entirely dependent on natural snow at the ski resort.

  The Schladming station is 16 km away from the Dachstein cable car lift. Ski buses and scheduled buses provide transportation to the lift.
