Beginners Coronet Peak
The ski resort of Coronet Peak is perfect for beginners and offers extensive facilities for novices. Beginners can find several practice slopes with moving carpets in the base area. The Meadows Express 4-person chairlift provides access to other very easy slopes. From the Greengates Express and Coronet Express mountain stations, half a dozen easy and wide slopes lead down to the valley. It is only at the Rock Gully T-Bar that you need to be already very confident on your skis. The local ski school offers a wide selection of ski lessons.
