Access, Parking Brighton

The ski resort of Brighton in the state of Utah is situated south east of Salt Lake City in the Wasatch Mountains. The ski resort is just 45 minutes or so from Salt Lake City. The journey takes you over a mountain road through Big Cottonwood Canyon. Brighton is located at the end of the canyon, after the Solitude ski resort.

Administrative directives apply for winter driving conditions (UDOT Traction Law: rules for snow chains, winter tyres and/or four-wheel drive). The road can be closed at times due to avalanche risk.

Chairlifts travel into the ski resort from around the large car park. There is a parking reservation system, as well as payable and free parking spaces.
