Access, Parking Brighton

The Brighton ski resort in the state of Utah is located southeast of Salt Lake City in the Wasatch Mountains. It takes only about 45 minutes to reach the ski resort from Salt Lake City. The drive leads along a mountain road through Big Cottonwood Canyon. Brighton is situated at the end of the canyon, beyond the Solitude ski resort.

In winter conditions, administrative regulations come into effect (UDOT Traction Law: rules for snow chains, winter tires, and/or all-wheel drive). The road may be temporarily closed due to avalanche danger.

Chairlifts start from around the large parking lot and lead into the ski area. There is a parking reservation system, as well as both paid and free parking spaces.
