The evaluation is done as follows
Slope grooming/preparation Big Sky Resort
The slope preparation is very good.
The slopes at Big Sky Resort are groomed with great attention to detail. The wide and easy beginner slopes around the base stations are always in perfect condition. Around 1/4 of the slopes are groomed daily. The cleared gladed runs, mogul slopes, and the extremely difficult runs on Lone Mountain are not groomed.
General note: By new snow, an optimal slope preparation is not always possible, even with a large effort. In addition, the new snow can not combine with the snow lying underneath and moguls are created quickly. For safety reasons, usually no slope preparation is possible during operating times.
