The lift in the "Am Crux" ski area was located right by the road at the entrance to the village coming from Schmiedefeld. In 2017, the winter sports area "Am Crux" was closed with the opening of the Winterwelt in Schmiedefeld. Skiing and snowboarding are no longer possible here. Instead, when there is enough snow, there is now a beautiful toboggan slope for young and old, which is very popular.
