Ski lifts at the ski resort Almenwelt Lofer

In the valley in Lofer, a state-of-the-art 8-seater gondola lift serves as the feeder lift to the Almenwelt Lofer ski area. From the mountain station, a 6-seater gondola lift takes you to the Loferer Alm. Since the 2012/2013 season, an 8-seater chairlift leads up to the Schwarzeck. As the world's first child-safe 8-seater chairlift with weather protection hoods, heated seats, and footrests, the Gipfelbahn will always remain something special. Next to this lift, the modern 6-seater chairlift Family Express starts, also featuring weather protection hoods and heated seats. The new, ultra-modern 8-seater chairlift Sender Express with hoods, heated seats, and footrests (replacing the Schönbühelbahn) provides access to the snow-sure slopes below the Schönbühel. This makes Almenwelt Lofer the first ski area in the world with two child-safe 8-seater chairlifts. Additional drag lifts and practice lifts also transport guests. At the mountain station, beginners can look forward to a 140 m long covered magic carpet. In the children's areas, there are 3 more conveyor belts operated by the ski schools.
