The use of local transportation instead of cars is actively encouraged. A 240 m2 solar power facility at the base station of the 8-person Schwarzeck chair lift produces electricity for multiple t-bar lifts in the ski resort. A photovoltaic facility at Loderbichl also produces electricity.

  • The Kaserasi tractor/train picks up guests from some of the accommodations in Lofer and brings them to the base station of the Loferer Almbahn I lift. All scheduled buses between St. Martin and Lofer can be used for free with a valid ski pass. Free ski buses circulate between Au, Scheffsnoth, Lofer and Faistau.
