Access, Parking Zettersfeld – Lienz
The Zettersfeld ski area starts in Lienz in East Tyrol. Access from the north via Mittersill is on the Felbertauern road, which includes the toll Felbertauern tunnel. Access from the west or east is either through the Pustertal or the Drautal. The nearest motorway is about 60 km from the ski area.
From the outskirts of Lienz, you can take the Zettersfeldbahn directly up into the ski area. The parking lot is large and free of charge. The lift serves as an ascent and descent aid, as there is no valley run down to Lienz.
It is also possible to drive by car on steep mountain roads to the Faschingalm valley station (1,660 m/paid parking) or directly to Zettersfeld (1,812 m). The drive from Lienz takes between 20 and 25 minutes.
