Directly at the large parking lot opposite the B480/236 (across from the bobsleigh track) is the entry point to the Bremberg cross-country ski network, featuring four intermediate trails, one difficult trail, and one easy trail ranging from 2.2 to 8.7 km in length. The total length of the groomed trails for both classic and skating styles here is about ten kilometers, with the various loops adding up to 25.7 km. There is also a cross-country ski rental with a small shop located at the parking lot.
The trails at Bremberg are connected to the Altastenberg and Westfeld trail systems, and from there to the Hunauspur and Rothaarloipe, resulting in a total of well over 100 kilometers of cross-country trails.
You can also access the Kuhlenberg trail system from the Remmeswiese/Rauher Busch parking lot (Lift 12) as well as from Herrloh (Parking lot 1), although this system is not connected to the one at Bremberg. At Kuhlenberg, another 25 km of easy to intermediate trails await. The starting point is Renners Hütte, where you’ll also find a snack bar and a rental shop.
