With the opening of the Landal Park at Sürenberg and the commissioning of the chairlift on its summit, which has provided a direct connection to the holiday park with its 1,400 beds since the 2012/13 season, the Skiliftkarussell now offers the most extensive ski-in/ski-out facilities of any German ski resort. In contrast to Hotel Brabander and Hotel Haus Herrloh, which together offer around 400 beds, Landal Park is not an exclusively Dutch operation; it is clearly also geared towards German guests. Another establishment within walking distance of the lifts is the Hotel Resort Winterberg (105 rooms) at Lift No. 11, which also offers good access to cross-country ski trails.
Additionally, there are two campsites located directly on the slopes: one at Remmeswiese (valley station of Lift 12), and the other at Kappe (valley station of Lift 15).
