Evaluated by Skiresort.info, the world's largest test portal for ski resorts.
The evaluation is done as follows
Ski resort size Willingen – Ettelsberg
The three Willingen ski mountains—Ettelsberg (838 m), Hoppernkopf (800 m), and Ritzhagen (710 m)—rise in a semicircle around the Hessian winter sports metropolis, boasting nearly 300 meters of elevation difference. They truly look like mountains, and in fact, Ettelsberg features the highest mountain station of all ski areas in the Wintersport-Arena Sauerland (833 m), the greatest vertical drop (258 m), and the longest slopes. With over two kilometers of north-south and east-west extension each, the Willingen ski area is one of the largest in all of Germany’s low mountain ranges.
