Beginners Willingen – Ettelsberg

Willingen offers beginners almost perfect conditions. At the valley stations Wilddieb, Dorfwiese/Ettelsberg, Sonnenlift, and Ritzhagen, you will find gentle slopes with lifts suitable for beginners (button lifts or conveyor belts), as well as ski rentals and ski schools. Here, learning without fear is easily possible. However, the next step can be somewhat problematic, as there is no truly blue slope from Ettelsberg down to the valley. The only option is the ski route via Köhlerhagen and then back via Wilddieb and Dorfwiese, which is only conditionally recommended for beginners. The situation is better at Ritzhagen, which offers an easy slope and, with the six-seater chairlift, also a comfortable way to get up the mountain.
