The large, paved, and always well-cleared parking lot at the valley station of the Ettelsberg-Seilbahn is exemplary and also free of charge. Getting there from the northwest can be problematic due to traffic jams starting at the Bestwig motorway exit. Alternatively, you can take the A44 exit Erwitte-Anröchte and travel via Brilon.
