Near Salzburg, you will find one of the most interesting descents in the Salzburger Land. The Untersberg above Grödig is a freeride paradise for specialists. The challenging 7.5 km ski route can be reached on foot in 20 minutes from the top station of the Untersbergbahn. The vertical drop of the descent is about 1,400 m. In the lower section, the steep slope can be bypassed along a forest road. From the end of the ski slope, you can take a bus back to the valley station of the Untersbergbahn.
