Beginners can make their down to the valley over easy slopes from the highest point in Australia. Almost the entire ski resort can be explored on easy slopes. Beginners feel particularly comfortable at Friday Flat. There are several moving carpets here and a 4-person chairlift specially for beginners. Thredbo also has a ski school that specialises in returners to snow sports and beginners.
