Advanced skiing, freeriding (powder snow skiing) Telluride
Telluride is a paradise for experts. Challenging runs lead down to Telluride, into the Revelation Bowl, and along the Apex and Gold Hill lifts. The Prospect Bowl and the Black Iron Bowl also offer difficult descents. From the top station of the Revelation Lift, you can traverse to the Gold Hill Chutes or climb up the "Gold Hill Stairs" all the way to Palmyra Peak at 4,060 meters. The ascent to Palmyra Peak is also possible from the Prospect Express. The runs on Palmyra Peak lead through extremely steep couloirs down to the valley. It doesn't get any steeper or more challenging than this.
