The evaluation is done as follows
Beginners Telluride
Beginners will find the best conditions from Mountain Village through Meadows all the way to Ute Park. Ute Park is located at the top of the mountain and is specially designed for beginners, served by a detachable (fast) four-seater chairlift. Several easy to very easy slopes lead from Ute Park down to the valley at Meadows. This is also where the easy slopes from Mountain Village end. Additionally, two platter lifts are available for beginners. Easy slopes even lead from Ute Park into Prospect Bowl.
Beginners can master the descent down to Telluride via the almost trail-like Telluride Trail slope. However, the upper part of the ski area remains reserved for more advanced winter sports enthusiasts.
