The Tauplitz ski train offers guests free transportation from the train station, accommodations, and parking lots to the Tauplitz valley station. Ski buses run from Bad Mitterdorf. The entire ski area is channeled and features the highest natural gas pipeline in Styria. Additionally, Tauplitzalm, with its many accommodations, is car-free in winter. Wildlife protection zones have been established.
