Access, Parking Tauplitz – Bad Mitterndorf
The usual approach from all directions is via the Ennstal valley. You can enter the Ennstal either from Radstadt in the west or from Liezen in the east, and then take the well-developed road up to Tauplitz. The best starting point is at Tauplitzbahn 1 in Tauplitz. Here, a tractor bus (Skizug Tauplitz) will take you from the more distant parking lots to the valley station.
You can also park in Bad Mitterndorf and take the ski bus to the Mittersteinbahn. Alternatively, you can drive up the Tauplitzalm Alpenstrasse to the Mittersteinbahn and park there. With a valid ski pass, the toll is waived. Additional parking is available further up the Tauplitzalmstraße at the Hollhauslift.
