There are very many cross-country trails around St. Johann in Tirol and Oberndorf, ranging from easy to difficult. The trails even lead all the way to the SkiWelt and Kitzbühel. It is easy to see why the Wilder Kaiser was chosen as the venue for the Koasalauf, a traditional cross-country race.
